I've been really slack and not posted for 6 or 7 weeks. I know its been that long because Steve & Libby took Leon's quilt to the UK for me and were away that long and they got back last weekend. I have a really, really good excuse though:
The Jurdling 3.0 is due November 13th. I'm finally feeling mostly better now at 15 weeks though I'm still easily exhausted. I weaned Henry 3 odd weeks ago which has helped a little bit with the tiredness but wasn't the magic cure I was hoping for. Its made no difference to his sleep at all, he just ends up in our bed now sleeping instead of feeding. I'm a tiny bit concerned about how he will cope with a sibling, he will be younger than Oliver was when Henry was born (by 9 months or so) and he's a lot more co-dependent on me. He still gets bad sep anx if I try and leave without him. Oh well, its 5 months away, will worry about it when it happens I guess.
First midwife appointment is next Tuesday - Hornsby finally have Group Midwife Practice up so I'll have my own this time (like I did with Oliver at RNS). I requested and got Julie, who is the midwife who delivered Henry.
I've done very little crafting since getting pregnant - I did a Stampin' Up card night with Zoe which was fun, I hope to do those on a semi-regular basis going forward. They are more fun than being hugely creative as we basically just copy the examples set out but its nice to have an evening away from the kids and with other adults. I've been chipping away at two Safari Tots quilts too - one is for the Sakurako store and the other is for a gift. I've had an expression of interest on the store one so hopefully it sells quickly.
I have 3 baby girls due shortly who need quilts too so I need to do a big fabric.com order and get the fabrics I need for those. I've already picked them, just need to order then decide what the layout will be. Will probably use any leftovers to make quilts for the store too. I'm waiting on the binding fabric for the Safari Tots quilts to turn up though so I may end up sneaking another quilt in ahead of the girly ones... we will see how my energy levels are.
In other news... EUROVISION is on Sunday, whoot! Andrew is hosting, we are bringing some Aldi frozen pretzels, which are pretty damn close to the real thing. I've been in a bit of a bubble so have no idea whats going on with Eurovision other than that Jedward are back again for Ireland. No idea on the song though. I'll do my usual media blackout over the weekend to avoid being spoiled - can I just say, that gets harder and harder to do every year!
